COOKs Wanted
Work Location: New Plymouth
Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week) permanent.
Our pay: $29.66-$31 per hour depending on experience.
We are a newly established and busy Chinese Restaurant in New Plymouth. We have two stores located at Bell Block and Blagdon.
To meet increasing community needs, we are now looking for 2 Cooks to join our team. We are expecting someone who is a team player and is multi-tasking.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years relevant work experience, preferable in Asian cuisine.
Tasks Include:
Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the takeaway
Seasoning food during preparation and cooking when necessary
Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation
Storing unused food and material in a proper way
Assisting in improving dishes quality
Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen
Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks
Ensuring kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations
