You will be based in either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do Deliver accurate, cost effective designs which are aligned to architectural, design and operational requirements considering all E2 E impacts Develop and produce of project plans, schedules, and SOW as required Provide records for emergency restoration Part of On-Call roster Create SOP for Change request submissions Input and request Change requests Complete additional tasks as directed by Eon Fibre management. Provide end to end design documents Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring Comprehensive understanding of OSP build specifically, Utilities ACT, Civil Construction legislation, Traffic Management, Civil Construction Methodologies, Fibre installation, handling, Fibre Splicing, testing and Council regulatory requirements Understanding of Layer 1 - Layer 2 technologies Transmission Methodologies Multi-Platform Access technologies, Core competencies, knowledge, experience and expertise in the Fixed Access domain; Outside Plant design, deliver and maintenance of Underground and overhead network architecture Digital Microwave Radio design principles incl. - IP Transport, Ethernet switching / routing Multi-Platform Access technologies, including HFC, GPON, XGPONExcellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills Ability to engage and contribute within a high performing and diverse team One New Zealand is leading the way by ensuring you can have a truly balanced life.
