Our pharmacy has a full range of dispensary services that include
Dispensing medications and offering professional advice on prescription and over-the-counter treatments.
Support acute care services (e.g. sore throats, UTIs, minor ailments)
Facilitate online consultations and work with telehealth GPs
Administer vaccinations and conduct health checks (BP, cholesterol, glucose, hepatitis C, gout)
Deliver treatments using standing orders (e.g. for skin infections, shingles, cold sores)
Support patients with chronic conditions like diabetes through education and care plans
Promote and assist with Nurse-in-Pharmacy services at Life Pharmacy North City.
This is a Permanent Full Time position, rostered 35-40 hours across 4-5 days from Monday to Sunday.
Essential skills include:
A NZ qualified Pharmacist with current APC
At least 3 years' experience in a pharmacy environment.
Be able and competent to practice sole charge.
Understand and implement key KPI's to run a successful dispensary business.
Understand the legislation requirements of the dispensary.
Strive to meet and greet your customers to create an engaging experience.
Motivated and dedicated to continual improvement of self and the business.
A highly motivated, enthusiastic people person with strong retail and sales confidence.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build patient trust
Confident working independently and managing multiple tasks
Understanding of health equity and commitment to serving diverse communities
Experience with extended clinical services is an advantage
