Early childhood or primary teacher (qualified or near-qualified)
Full-Time | Permanent | 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday | $28.50/hour

We’re excited to welcome a passionate and qualified early childhood or primary teacher to join our small, friendly team!
Our centre is licensed for just 30 children aged 2–6 years, with a low teacher-to-child ratio of 1:6. This allows us the unique opportunity to build strong, meaningful relationships with our tamariki and their whānau, you’ll be able to truly engage in quality teaching without feeling overwhelmed.
What we offer:

2 hours of non-contact time per week
Generous leave — 4 weeks off over Christmas + 1 week flexible leave during the year

Hourly rate: $28.50
What we’re looking for:
A collaborative team player with great communication skills
A qualified ECE or Primary teacher (BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 or above)
We also welcome applications from soon-to-be graduates
A valid New Zealand teaching registration
No Montessori experience required — just a love for working with young children!
