The ideal candidates will:- support our talented chefs with food preparation and baking.- assist with service, keep the kitchen clean, and do dishes.- be able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.- be an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed, can-do attitude.- be resilient and able to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment. This position is for 32.5 hours per week, working Monday to Wednesday, 7am – 3.30pm, and Sunday, 7am – 4pm. Additional hours may be available on a casual basis to cover leave when required. It is a fixed term position to cover a staff member on parental leave, but don't let that put you off – we have a number of aged care kitchens in Rangiora, with new opportunities likely to arise once you are part of our family. Previous kitchen experience is not required as training will be provided to someone who possesses the right attitude and motivation.
