Our Regional Intellectual Disability Supported Accommodation Service (RIDSAS) provides forensic rehabilitation services for people with high and complex needs who have had contact with the justice system.
You'll play a vital role, alongside our clinical team, to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services that include life skills programmes, vocational opportunities, and clinical support.
We are looking for a real 'people' person, to build strong relationships with the people we support, their whanau and external agencies.
This role is suited to someone who values connection, communication, and compassion.
What you'll be doing: Inspire, guide, and coach a team of Support Workers to deliver excellent care and support Plan and oversee the delivery of services that help people with disabilities reach their goals Build positive, respectful relationships with the people we support, their whanau, and partner agencies Manage rostering, staff training, and ensure best practice across your team Champion health and safety, and model our organisation's values in everything you do As part of the on-call schedule, you will provide essential support and advice during evenings and weekends, to both the Wellington and Auckland RIDSAS teams.
