We are seeking to appoint a teacher of ESOL to teach in our Middle and Senior Schools. This is a permanent appointment commencing in January 2026 and could suit someone wanting part time work.

Scots College offers dual pathway options for its senior students, delivering both NCEA and the IB Diploma. We are also fully authorised for the Middle Years and the Primary Years Programmes. Experience teaching the MYP and/or Diploma Programme would be advantageous although training will be provided.

Applicants should have:
Teaching Council NZ registration and current practising certificate
Ideally, at least two to three years of teaching experience across middle and senior schools
Interdisciplinary teaching experience
The ability and passion to promote learning and education within a blended learning environment
Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills
The ability to manage and motivate young people, a desire to foster excellence
