Our idyllic Steiner kindergarten in the Bay of Islands is seeking an experienced, passionate, creative, and inspiring ECE teacher to join our team.
We are a thriving rural kindergarten with a license for 30 tamariki aged 2-6 years old, operating from 8.30am–3pm, Monday to Friday.
We are governed by the Bay of Islands Waldorf Education Trust, which also runs our playgroup and Steiner junior classroom.
Our Ideal Candidate Will:

Be Steiner trained or bring experience working in a Waldorf ECE setting.
Hold an ECE teaching qualification and full teacher registration.
Be committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

*The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $57,358 to $74,152, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
