Canva is an online design platform that makes design easy for everyone. Our mission is to democratise design and creation and allow anyone to turn their vision into a design for web and print.
Team and culture:
While Canva’s growth has exploded we have grown the team slowly focusing on quality over quantity. With half of the founding team hailing from Google we have an extremely strong engineering culture driven by rapid decision making, using the most appropriate tool for the task and striking a measured balance between getting things done and long term maintainability.
Our office culture is driven by a positive, friendly and productive vibe, we are constantly thinking about how we can maintain and evolve this as we grow which leads us to place as much importance on team fit as technical ability. While everyone on the Canva team believes in the ‘big vision’ small decisions are driven balance of data, what is best for the end user and a best idea wins philosophy.
