About the Role:
As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee a small, skilled team, ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment. While you will have significant management responsibilities, this role also requires hands-on involvement to resolve issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage engineering maintenance operations
Oversee and improve preventative maintenance programs
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with production plant equipment
Supervise and guide a dedicated maintenance team
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering systems and processes
Ideal Candidate:
Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering
Expertise in preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
Solid understanding of steam operations
Proficient in computer systems and maintenance software
Excellent communication and team management skills
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong focus on problem-solving
