Environmental Sciences – Environmental Scientist/Hazardous Materials Consultant
We have an opportunity for an environmental scientist/hazardous materials consultant, who is a licensed asbestos assessor, to join our Environmental Health and Safety team in Auckland. This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment working on diverse, multi-disciplinary projects for some of New Zealand’s largest clients. Some travel to Australia could be an option.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting asbestos and other hazardous materials surveys
Overseeing asbestos removal and undertaking clearance inspections
Carrying out Occupational Hygiene and workplace exposure assessments
About you:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Sciences
Licensed Asbestos Assessor - essential
1 to 3 years’ experience with asbestos and hazardous materials
