Continuing full-time 5 hours per week Five weeks annual leave and five days university holidays. Up to 6.75% superannuation. Position beginning in 2024. Appointment may be made in January 2024. Au Mahi | What You Will Do As an Experience Designer you will ensure that the individual 'user experience' of UC's website and student facing applications is as efficient and enjoyable as possible. You will be involved in supporting the wider UX team by implementing the UX strategy across all Digital Service products. A critical element of this role is to align different systems and applications into responsive user interfaces (UI) that engage customers across devices. The Experience will play a pivotal role in: Supporting UX design team in achievable product roadmaps. Support in facilitating user interviews, workshops and research. Take ownership of growing and developing the customer panel. Assist construction of the Design System. Apply to style and configure out-of-the-box applications. You hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject or recognised qualification(s) and have: Experience interpreting and following visual design and branding guidelines to create a consistent and impactful user experience. UX Wireframing and UI prototyping skills. Knowledge of the principles of user-friendly design and a practical understanding of how people interact with computers and mobile devices. Knowledge of Figma and other similar UX/UI design tools and Web and app design, graphics skills and programming. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent organisational, time and project management skills. Accuracy and attention to detail.
