Full Time Application Closes 21 Jun 2023 Hawkes Bay - Hastings Financial Manager Due to our current Finance Manager taking up new role in our growing organisation, Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) has an exciting opportunity for a new Finance Manager within our Corporate Services - Finance team. TToH is a Ngati Kahungunu mandated, kaupapa Maori values-based health and social services organisation providing services to our community along the East Coast of the North Island, from Mahia to Rimutaka. Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully for whanau for over 37 years.Reporting to the GM Corporate/CFO, the Finance Manager is responsible for the day to day running of our Finance team. The role is full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm and is based at our large Orchard Road site in Hastings.Key responsibilities include:· Monthly financial management reporting requirements· Ensure we meet all our tax obligations and deadlines· Statutory reporting including Annual audit· Fixed Asset Management and Cashflow Management· Overseeing the Accounts payable and Accounts receivable function· Support the CFO with budgeting and forecasting· Provide financial information to the Service Managers· Maintain quality financial systems and policies and proceduresSuitable candidates will have:· A Tertiary degree in Accounting and/or Finance· Be a member of the CA ANZ or equivalent recognised body· Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting role at a Senior level · Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with Excel at a Senior level· Expert knowledge of Xero accounting software and application partners Employee Benefits:- 5 weeks annual leave- Southern Cross Wellness One Health Insurance- Life insurance- Birthday leave- Study support and career opportunities- Wellness activities and incentives and loads of other benefits working for a positive, friendly, values-based organisation that cares about its staff.
