We’re home to trusted brands like New Zealand Couriers, Post Haste, Sub60 and Kiwi Express.  Our team plays a crucial role in keeping Aotearoa connected, and we’re looking for a Building and Facilities Manager to keep our facilities running safely, efficiently and effectively.

About The Role
Reporting to the New Zealand Couriers Financial Controller, the newly created role of Building and Facilities Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our building roadmap for the Freightways Express Package network across New Zealand. Based at our Head Office in Penrose, you'll ensure that our branches and depots can support and enhance the delivery of our premium service.

Key Responsibilities
•    Develop and oversee a building roadmap for the business
•    Plan and project manage facility improvements and site relocations
•    Lease portfolio management
•    Supplier and contractor management
•    Manage the safety and security aspects of our buildings
•    Ensure ongoing compliance with legislation, codes, and standards

About You

• In-depth knowledge of building compliance, systems and procedures
• A strong understanding of health and safety standards
• Commercial acumen with strong fiscal, analytical and numerical skills to manage costs and improve efficiency
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), relationship building and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management, organisational abilities, and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel nationally when required
