Job Description

In this busy, sole charge position, you’ll bridge our IT team of 10 and our engineers, ensuring seamless operation of our CAD, PLM and related systems. A background in Design Engineering is highly desirable but PLM experience is critical. While technical backup will be available, you will manage the following tasks:
Administer and maintain Temperzone Autodesk suite, in particular Vault (our PLM system)
Provide recommendations for CAD process and design process optimization
Implement approved custom code and config recommendations
Develop and deliver CAD user training programs
Make recommendations for CAD software/hardware and related IT infrastructure, and conduct testing and verification of new software/hardware, including upgrades
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role with an Engineering degree
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor Pro and Vault Professional
Experience in a connected factory production environment and knowledge of production systems and BOM systems
Familiarity with Auto CAD, Java, Visual Basic, HTML, XML, CNC production machine programming, and sheet-metal related industries advantageous
