An iconic NZ business, they are now entering their next phase of growth!This role assumes responsibility for ITM's procurement function, and it’s a highly engaging and industry-prominent position combining both strong leadership and well-developed commercial smarts. You will be accountable for the performance of a category management team and core responsibilities include: Be commercially astute and viably creative in working with key supply partners to create points of difference in ITM’s go-to-market offer Identify and explore market opportunities; providing product and supply growth in line with business goals and marketing initiatives Position the commercial procurement function as a trusted and expert provider to shareholders’ businesses Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and oversee all key contract and financial agreements Establish and deliver strategy and execution of a highly successful and inclusive procurement strategy benefitting both shareholders and chosen supply partners As a candidate, you need to be equal parts entrepreneurial business person and numerically driven negotiator/communicator with strong leadership presence.
