We are looking for an IT Project Manager, with experience delivering IT projects to end users, to join our fast-growing team based in central Auckland. While we’re going through rapid growth & implementing our systems for the future, we’re looking for an IT Project Manager for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. In this role you will be assisting the Technology team with scoping, design & implementation of various IT applications This role will be working alongside another IT Project Manager & you’ll be joining a fast-growing team in a newly established company where you’ll play a key role in shaping the ways of working and co-creating the culture Requirements Key Responsibilities include: Understanding project goals, liaising with the vendor and the internal stakeholder to ensure projects are well planned, directed and coordinated, allowing the teams to meet those goals – i.e. projects in scope, on schedule and within budget Ensuring business requirements are clearly articulated and included in scope Managing resources for projects, coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities across all phases of the project, with consideration to other projects running in parallel. Attending workshops and noting decisions and actions. Allocating actions and timelines to team members, following up as necessary. Managing out of scope requirements, Ensuring the project teams are highly engaged and well informed Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence Understand senior stakeholder requirements for information, and ensure this is provided Preparing status reports and communicating these to senior managers, including providing strong support for the status provided Conducting risk assessments for projects Ensuring there is a culture of continuous improvement to project management practices You’ll have: Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in delivering IT projects to end users Experience in leading multiple projects / workstreams Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management Strong financial, data and commercial agility Well-developed leadership, communication and influencing skills - written and verbal A creative approach to problem-solving Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders Willingness to embrace differences and diversity in the workplace and build rapport with colleagues A growth mindset and desire for continuous improvement Benefits This is an exciting time to be joining Connexa – working with us will challenge you, broaden your horizons and allow you to make your mark on a totally new segment of New Zealand’s telecommunications industry.
