This means, being the voice of the client and subject matter expert along with having a deep understanding of the Buildings market segment. You’ll devise strategies for market share growth, winning work and building sales pipelines, along with ensuring all brand & marcomms plus resources are aligned with the business group strategies and priorities.This role includes coordination of, and support to the Market Segment Directors for each of the Leisure & Hospitality, Education, Healthcare and Commercial Office market segments.This position will plan, monitor, and analyse all sales activity, and promote best practice model consulting function for a team of 900 in terms of processes including: bids/proposal development, key messages and digital client experience and reviewing market data.A leader/mentor to coach and develop the direct reports as well being the subject matter expert is required.The package includes bonus and other long terms benefits as well as WFH flexibility.About You: You will have senior Business Development/Sales and Marketing experience within a professional services, consulting, or similar environment.Consulting sector experience required and Building strategy through to implementation market experience beneficial.You thrive in a highly collaborative environment.You are a strategic thinker who is able to follow through with implementation plans and the ability to positively influence stakeholders.You will have exceptional business acumen and proven experience penetrating markets/clients, delivering proposals, closing deals, and negotiating contracts, along with brand and marcomms strategy to ensure clear, engaging and compelling messaging to market segments.You will be highly organised, with exceptional project management skills with the capacity and strategic nous to add value and be across various functions of the business. This role needs to draw upon the Buildings team and central corporate resources to achieve target outcomes, so an agile mindset is needed.
