Ko tō tūranga - your role
The Sales Manager is responsible for owning the sales strategy for growing existing customer database, implementing sales plans; empowering the team, and developing skill capabilities. Manages sales of Vodafone's products and ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of Customer Business Manager sales team. Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

Building team capabilities and drive performance through coaching, empowering a business owners mindset, sales effort support and coaching
Accountable for the financial results and overall team performance
Accountable for ensuring customer relationships are enduring
Support growth of the business by hiring, developing and retaining talent
Planning quarterly team objectives that meet the outcomes required and reporting against these.
Lead and develop a Customer Obsessed Team through regular team cadences and performance management.

Sound commercial acumen
Strategic thinker with continuous improvement orientation
Experience in core product sets connectivity & ICT
Rational decision maker
Effective project planning and monitoring skills
Outstanding communication, influencing and persuasion skills.
Must have experience; technical / professional qualifications:
Demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of experience working successfully with sales teams
B2B and complex solution selling experience
Formal qualification would be preferred
Telecommunication industry knowledge is preferred but not essential
Experience in the use of CRM software for managing activity
