Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Auckland office: Business Process Improvement LeadWhat can you expect?Reporting to the Solutions Delivery Manager, this a newly created role in Operations and Technology that is responsible for identifying, analysing and delivering business improvement solutions that support the global Operational Excellence program and country-specific strategic initiatives.Ideally you will have a strong background in financial services with extensive project delivery experience covering business/technical analysis and project management across people, process and technology.What is in it for you?This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to join a large, multinational organisation that is investing heavily in modernising and revolutionising the way we deliver services to our clients.Working in a small, highly functioning team in Auckland and supported by talented mix of project colleagues from across the globe, you will be well-supported in your own development as you implement new processes and technologies that are critical to the organization’s growth ambitions.We will count on you to:Assist in the development and implementation of process and workflow improvement initiatives in support of Operational Excellence (strategy to execution)Independently structure and execute analytical models with minimal guidance/supervisionWork with key stakeholders to design and build solutions that support the overall delivery of strategic plans, vision and valuesEnsure projects follow the Initiation, Execution, and Transition & Value Capture phases in accordance with Marsh’s Project Delivery Life CycleEnsure early detection of project issues and risks with early identification of mitigation strategies and stakeholder communication and engagementMaintain project program and financials using Marsh’s standard system for project trackingWhere required, lead meetings and communicate progress and outcomes to internal stakeholdersParticipate in cross-functional teams and build relationships with key internal clients and business partnersWhat you need to have: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project delivery role (BA, PM, Change Manager, etc.)3 years’ experience in insurance broking or other financial servicesMethodology certification desired: Business Analysis (Process Modelling and Requirement Specifications) and/or Project Management MethodologyMS Visio (or other BPM tools), SharePoint, VBA / SQL experience is a plusExperience working in an ambiguous environment with unclear project goals and objectives and translating them into clear deliverables to the businessStrong business and financial acumen with the ability to understand the drivers behind a variety of business modelsProficient in managing very large data sets and performing analysis to distill and draw out insights from large, complex data sources. Ability to communicate business requirements and data needs to technical staffExcellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skillsAbout Marsh McLennan:Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC) is the world’s leading professional services firm in the areas of risk, strategy and people.
