About the role | Mō te tūranga:
As a Finance Business Partnering Manager, you will lead the provision of timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, and Commercial support to our GMs. Engage proactively with operational leaders to ensure the successful delivery of budget objectives and initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include delivering timely and accurate Management Accounting on a monthly and annual basis for allocated Regions, overseeing balance sheet accounts, providing financial and contract analysis, and leading annual budgets and periodic reforecasts. As a senior member of the Awanui team, you may also lead and coordinate cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate Management Accounting for allocated Regions.
- Oversee the preparation and review of relevant balance sheet accounts.
- Provide financial and contract analysis to support business efficiency, new business, and retention initiatives.
- Lead the professional development of Management Accounting direct reports and supervise them on a day-to-day basis.
- Develop internal and external networks for proper consultation.
- CA or equivalent qualification, Commerce Degree, preferably in accounting and/or finance.
- 5+ years working in commercial environments (Operations, Management Accounting).
- Significant experience leading finance teams.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and numeracy skills.
- Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and deliver on time.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to implement processes.
