As the National Air Logistics Manager for New Zealand, you will be responsible for customer development, P&L ownership, and leading the Air Logistics team. You will support the implementation of corporate strategies for business success and operations aligned with the company's overall goals in the Airfreight sector. Your Role The focus will be on business growth, customer development, and profitability. You will recruit, manage, motivate, and lead the Air Logistics team in accordance with the KN Roadmap and RACI. All duties should adhere to corporate Air Logistics policies and involve collaboration with management and other business units. Your Responsibilities Business and Product Development Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders. Support selected GA and NA customers as a Co-Pilot. Make commercial decisions, including RFQs, to secure and retain business. Support new business acquisition and account management. Develop existing client relationships and localize global products to market needs. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities. Contribute to global strategy and ensure its implementation. Maintain close communication with NA peers and other relevant groups for customer and product development, including pricing and risk management. Collaborate with KN Group Companies and other related entities for synergies. Profit Development Own the P&L for New Zealand. Link financial performance to commercial actions. Manage customer profitability and budgets, taking corrective actions as needed. Operations Excellence Support operational management and strategy execution. Ensure daily operational delivery. Support procurement and carrier management strategies. Promote a culture of continuous improvement. Leadership and Development Lead and develop the Air Logistics team. Foster talent growth and succession planning. Align leadership with KN culture and Roadmap, acting as a role model. Identify and develop internal talent and support international exchange opportunities. Note: Responsibilities may evolve to meet operational needs. Your Skills and Experiences Proven Air Logistics experience across Airfreight products, key account management, and customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Effective negotiation, influence, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent presentation and moderation skills. Commercial acumen and business development expertise. Effective time and resource management. Project management skills. Proven leadership and team development success. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
