The Opportunity
The newly created role of National Operations & Optimisation Manager is a career-defining opportunity to shape operations across T& G Fresh. In this role, you will drive efficiency, performance, and innovation across our national operations. You will oversee the commercial and operational performance of our fresh produce market sites and packing unit, ensuring best-in-class strategies and processes. With the freedom to lead transformative change and implement innovative solutions, you will quickly make a tangible impact on our business.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Develop and implement a national operations strategy aligned with strategic objectives.
Lead the operational effectiveness of our 11 fresh produce market sites, working closely with Market Managers.
Oversee the commercial and operational performance of our Auckland packing unit.
Implement an asset management plan to ensure property conservation and business continuity.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless operations that meet customer needs.
Lead key business projects, contributing to strategic growth.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost optimisation.
Ensure business processes are documented, trained, and executed effectively with appropriate performance controls.
