We have an opportunity come up for a Platform Delivery Manager to join our New Zealand Infrastructure & Operations, Service Delivery and Cyber Security. Platform Delivery Manager are accountable for managing Suncorp New Zealand’s end user environment including Smart Bar, second-level support and third-level engineering.
The role requires close collaboration with Suncorp Australia’s end user teams to deliver all end user products, initiatives and/or services to the New Zealand (NZ) business.
Lean and agile methods will need to be employed along with coaching and mentoring to build a highly-engaged team focussed on creating and maintaining great user experiences.
Your key Responsibilities will include:
Deliver an exceptional customer experience through a combination of internal and partner teams that are technically capable and demonstrate behaviours that drives a strong customer centric culture.Create value by delivering services that elevate the customer experience (including automation, self-service, pro-active communications);Implement operational measures that provide insight into key customer satisfaction sentiment and develop appropriate action plans to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction in the environment.Support the delivery of programs of work and/or projects to greatly reduce cost to service and increase the overall customer experience for Suncorp employees and its joint venture partners;Work with key business stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate, cost effective and timely solutions are delivered.Comply with reporting and steering committee governance requirements; comply with ITIL and technical standards;Ensure that delivery team purpose and objectives are clear and linked to the broader Group vision, strategy and customer roadmap.Ensure a sound translation of business objectives into clear streams of work, aligning technology strategy with business strategy via projects, continual improvement and operational activity;Manage the end-to-end (ideation through to operation) delivery of initiatives and operational support using best practice Change, Release, and IT Service management;Collaborate with business and technology teams (onshore and offshore) across brands to deliver quality experiences and value to end customers;Ensure that assigned assets are fit for purpose and adhere to Suncorp’s Technology Policies, Frameworks and Standards including those relating to Risk, Asset Health, and Security; To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Qualification in information technologyQualification in business or management (desirable)At least ten (10) years IT industry experience in und user rolesAt least ten (10) years’ experience in IT Operations/IT Service Management/Service Desk operations / first level serviceAt least three (3) years’ experience in leading a technical team (mandatory);Excellent knowledge/experience in the ITIL framework;Excellent knowledge/experience in IT delivery methodologies or project management;Proven capability in contributing to the strategic direction of an organisation;Experience in leading teams through periods of change;Proven experience in delivering end user support, infrastructure and service management transformational programs; andITIL 3/4 and the application of ITSM Standards;Demonstrated ability to easily build new relationships and proactively establish a variety of contacts across the organization;Ability to contribute to strategic perspectives and translate this into specific plans/actions for teams to execute; andPractised at providing feedback & coaching for direct reports including performance management.
