National Support Office, Auckland Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Solution Delivery Specialist to join our National Office team, in the CBD of Auckland. This is a permanent full-time role. The Solution Delivery Specialist is responsible for supporting and improving the applications, data, and processes within the Portfolio to ensure business outcomes and stakeholder needs are delivered swiftly, effectively and leverage the capabilities of our applications and services. This role will primarily focus on providing technical leadership for a range of deliverables across systems admin, application maintenance/lifecycle, L2/L3 support, projects, UAT, test automation and continual service improvement related activities. Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience At least 5 years of experience in application development, application support and maintenance roles, preferably in support of customer-facing systems and business processes. Experience producing high quality system and support documentation. Experience operating within an ITIL or CMM framework, or other IT Service Management environment. Experience in script development or process automation tools and writing SQL queries. Experience in software testing (manual and/or automation). Experience in relevant productivity tools; Excel, SQL, Visio, VSTS, etc. Operational and workflow experience with service management tools such as Service Now or Cherwell. Knowledge of ITIL and associated Service management best practices and Project methodologies (including Agile) would be desirable. Experience with software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and values, and traditional SDLC would be desirable. Knowledge of hospital systems or health sector environments is preferred.
