We are more than what you expect - RE-THINK what you know about Office Max - you will be surprised!The Role - Account Manager, Care (Field sales)Reporting to our Sales Manager - Field sales Care, in this role you will be tasked with managing a portfolio of customers within the Care sector (including Aged Care facilities, Te Whatu Ora, Hospitals, and other health care providers), utilising our showroom in Christchurch.

Growing share of wallet by identifying new opportunities within our solutions range to benefit your customer's needs; partner with your customers to understand their pain points and then provide advice to influence their decision making processes and ultimately winning the sale!Office Max provides workplace solutions - from daily milk deliveries to non-invasive medical supplies and clean and hygiene needs - we have something for every business in every sector across the country.

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive advisor and account manager, a natural problem solver - you will be someone who sees solutions and opportunities, while taking others on the journey! Covering a customer base across the South Island (Te Waipounamu), you can expect to be on the road approximately 2-3 nights per month.

Your key responsibilities are: Account Management and Customer Retention Achieve Customer retention through account planning, prompt and professional resolution of issues and deepening of long-term relationships and loyalty Develop leads and capture new account opportunities through upselling, cross-selling and prospecting via relationship networks, market intelligence and key customer contacts or staff changes Shape Bid, RFP, Presentation and Contract Renewal processes for customers in conjunction with Sales Operations and the Sales Manager to achieve win-win outcomes Negotiate Terms of Trade and SLA negotiations with customers based on financial analysis, commercial insight, and Office Max's Sector Sales strategy Work with the Sales Manager and other parts of Office Max to assess ROI and contribute insights to new product development for customers Manage allocated categories to optimise sales, provide solutions for customer needs e.g.

new, compliant or specialist products, and share category knowledge with wider sales team Ensure all pipeline and customer information and activity is up to date in Salesforce CRMExcellence in Sales execution Work closely with Sales Operations teams to develop a collaborative, cohesive and strong Office Max service-delivery culture, support forecasting and planning and enable sales excellence in sales execution Deliver key Project requirements e.g.

Back to School, to customers Ensure customers can access, or be provided with accurate information and advice on relevant categories & products - including their use in the customer workplace, and how these meet the customer needs and requirements.

For example, non-invasive medical supplies Liaise with Sales Operations teams to ensure that sales data, pricing, quotations, catalogues, sales collateral and other requirements are met What you will bring: 3-5 years Business to Business Sales experience Experience working in the health care sector is essential Successful record of gaining new business and customers Demonstrated experience in supplier and customer negotiations Track record of working in matrix team structures Commercial, logistics and problem-solving skills Sustainability and HS&W champion People and Culture Our people are genuine, and proactive solution finders.
