What will you do?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Christchurch. Reporting directly to the Head of Treasury and Corporate Finance, this is a broad and varied high-impact role that will see you working across the wider Finance team. You'll play a key role in shaping financial strategies that support Ryman's long-term vision and growth across our organisation.
This role offers wide exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, giving you the opportunity to influence key financial decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting treasury and debt refinancing, working closely the Head of Treasury & Corporate Finance to manage capital structure and funding strategies
Lead and manage independent investment property valuations including assessing and applying accounting standards
Taking part in business forecasting, assisting both long-term strategic forecasting and short-term financial planning
Providing financial modelling, scenario analysis and reporting to support and assist strategic planning and decision-making
Providing advice and informing discussions on key corporate finance issues such as financial performance, forecasting, capital structure, dividend payments and funding arrangements and options
Coordinating with, and instruct, external providers such as independent valuers, auditors and other advisors
Monitoring and analysing the aged care industry and financial and economic markets and advising the business of any possible impact on Ryman including changes in competitor strategy, market conditions and any potential pricing issues

Who are you?
You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
You have 5+ years' experience in a similar role, with a strong track record in financial modelling, treasury management, and strategic forecasting
You have strong financial modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel skills
You have proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights
CA or CFA qualification preferred but not essential, and Big 4 or other accounting firm experience being an advantage
