The Financial Reporting Manager is an existing role in the finance team and reporting to the Group Financial Controller will take responsibility for ensuring the accurate preparation/compilation of all the external financial reporting, ensuring they are fully compliant with the IFRS reporting requirements. This is an environment where the finance team is strongly focussed on supporting the business operations and this role will contribute by leading the further development of reporting and compliance functions with a focus on continuous improvement of business processes, systems and reporting formats. Over the medium term the role will offer considerable exposure across the business, does have some staff responsibilities and good prospects for career advancement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a degree qualified Accountant who has developed their base of experience in a Big 4 audit environment to take that next career step into the corporate sector. Candidates may have gained some previous commercial sector experience, but the key prerequisite is previous audit or financial reporting experience up to a supervisory/manager level where they have gained the technical knowledge of reporting standards. Candidates will need to have good oral & written communication skills, be well organised and proactive/solutions focused in their approach, with leadership skills in both managing & influencing change.
The remuneration package will be in the range of $140,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
