You’ll lead a trans‑Tasman team and partner with our managed service provider to deliver resilient, high‑performing network services while driving automation and innovation. This is a permanent full‑time role based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch).
What You’ll Do Lead and inspire a team of network specialists across Australia and New Zealand, fostering capability uplift and growth.
Drive the roadmap for network automation and observability, moving towards AI enabled Zero‑Touch operations.
Manage vendor relationships and performance, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Oversee cost management and contribute to financial planning for network services.
Champion customer‑centricity and operational excellence, ensuring resilience and reliability across all services.
Drive product excellence for the product/s assigned to you, and support peers in improving their product capabilities.
Collaborate with architecture and technology teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions aligned to IAG’s strategy. What You’ll Bring Strong demonstrable background in enterprise secure network operations and engineering with leadership experience.
Strong background in Product/ Service Ownership delivering world‑class Customer Experience.
Proven ability to implement automation and software‑defined networking.
Experience managing vendors and outsourced operations in complex environments.
Exceptional communication skills to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
