We are needing a

Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

to join our

South Dunedin

team! We are also considering motivated individuals who are keen to learn about the industry and start as a

Trainee.

What you will do:
Installing, servicing, and maintaining fire sprinklers, hose reels, special hazards, and hydrant systems to the relevant standard.
Representing Johnson Controls on site in a professional and courteous manner.
How you will do it:
Participate in training offered by the Company and outside sources to keep abreast and ahead of developments in the industry and to improve your own skills.
Demonstration of enthusiasm towards products and services both used and provided by the company.
Positive attitudes, loyalty, and enthusiasm towards the Company objectives.
What we look for?
Ideally, we welcome applicants with previous experience installing fixed fire protection and the ability to work alone or in a team. If you are competent in the fitting of pipes, valves, pumps, and accessories in a fire fighting system, apply now.
We would also welcome applications from people with an interest in fire protection, who would like to commence a career at trainee level. If you think you have the aptitude and attitude for this role, but lack the experience or qualifications, we would like to hear from you. Some previous experience in construction or building services would be an advantage.
New Zealand residency/citizenship or a valid New Zealand work visa.
