Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc. Appraise the needs of business or individual customers and sell the suitable protection plans. Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews. Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction. Keep sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress of marketing and sales efforts.
