About the role This is a great opportunity to join our tight knit and highly skilled team in New Plymouth. We are currently recruiting a Field Service Technician to carry out both field based and workshop servicing and repairs. You will be working with world class brands of machinery and equipment including Kubota, Landini, Brevi, Pichon, Vaderstad and Vredo. You will be fully supported by your Service Manager and the dealership team, and receive ongoing training at our own National Training Centre in Palmerston North. To be successful you will have: Heavy automotive trade qualification and/or at least 3 years experience in repairs & servicing of heavy machinery Strong technical knowledge and advanced skills in diagnosis, repairs and servicing High standards of workmanship and ability to accurately complete required paperwork Computer skills including the use of OEM diagnostic software Great customer service and communication skills Excellent work ethic - determined to deliver both a timely and high standard of service and repairs to our customers Some of the benefits that we can offer you: Competitive hourly rate, service vehicle, phone, laptop, tool allowance Premier Health Business cover with nib insurance Staff purchasing benefits and company banking options Relocation assistance for candidates wanting to move to the area Opportunity to work with a wide range of world class agricultural and construction machinery Ongoing technical training in our purpose-built National Training Centre in Palmerston North Multiple career pathways within our nationwide network of dealerships You will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week within our core business days and hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, and also participate in a roster to provide on-call support to Norwood customers.
