Job Description: Money Gram Haas F1 Team celebrates its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in 2025. Position Overview: This role reports to the Head of Composite Design and is based in Maranello, Italy. The candidate will assist in planning and strategizing the development and race introduction of car components. Key Responsibilities: Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments. Design and develop F1 car components. Seek continuous improvement in component design to enhance car performance. Contribute to workload planning within the composite design group. Assist in concept development related to composite design. Liaise with the Race Team on reliability and design revisions. Conduct research and development activities. Adhere to safety regulations at all venues. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required; a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a professional motorsports environment, with design expertise and some FEA experience, is necessary. Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication skills in English. Technical expertise in racing car design. Excellent organizational skills and project management abilities. Experience leading composite design projects. Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes. Ability to perform under pressure and make quick decisions. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues. Tools and Applications: Computers and basic hand tools CATIA 3 DXMicrosoft Office Suite Work Environment: The role requires working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, including domestic and international travel, with long and flexible hours. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and working around machinery and hazardous fluids, all in compliance with health and safety policies.
