Administrative Assistant (Administration & Office Support)Full time Mount Maunganui Golf Club is a prestigious 18 Hole course in Mount Maunganui, established in 1935 with over 1400 members. The Club was voted ‘NZ Golf Club of the Year in 2018’ and is a sought-after location in the NZ golfing community due to its golf course quality and fantastic clubhouse facility that services its members, community groups, and private functions. To continue providing first-class service to its members, the Club is looking for an experienced administrator with exceptional customer service and proven accounting skills to join its team. Responsibilities: Coordinate all administrative activities of the Club Office, including reception and scheduling meetings. Produce reports and presentations and liaise with external suppliers or contractors. Provide PA support to the Club General Manager. Respond efficiently and professionally to queries from Club members and Committees. Work closely with other internal teams to develop productive working relationships. Handle accounting responsibilities including reconciliations, preparation of monthly accounts, GST Returns, and ensuring audit compliance. Qualifications: Up to 5 years’ experience in office/business administration management roles. Strong customer focus with the ability to engage with a wide variety of individuals. Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, and Power Point are essential. High level of competence in Xero is essential. Working knowledge of Google Docs/Google Sheets. NZ experience in processing and administering accounts, including invoicing, bank reconciliation, and GST returns. Advanced literacy and numerical skills. High level of attention to detail. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of taking responsibility, setting priorities, and multitasking. Proven ability to develop long-term, professional relationships, both internal and external. Competence with database and social media applications. A knowledge of golf or sports clubs would be an advantage but not essential. Current full and clean New Zealand Driver’s licence. Essential Attributes: Personal integrity.
