What’s involved

You will be providing support and assistance to the Digital Governance, Risk and Compliance Lead. Co-ordinating and running defined governance, compliance and risk management processes and identifying initiatives for improvement across our digital and cyber security programmes. 

You’ll be responsible for supporting our governance frameworks, delivering our security and digital training plans, and working on improvements projects in support of maturity and compliance needs.

The role is highly varied with opportunities to learn and grow within the GRC discipline for a self-motivated candidate with an inquisitive mindset.

To be successful your experience will include a combination of:

· Bachelor Degree (General) (Essential)

· Professional qualifications in IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL, COBIT) (Desirable)

· Professional qualifications in Information Security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC) (Desirable)

· 3 – 5 years relevant experience

What you’ll need

· High level of digital literacy including Microsoft 365 applications

· High level of written and verbal literacy. Experience of writing formal documentation, and the ability to adjust style to suit the communication requirements of the audience.

· The ability to absorb a significant quantity of technical information and best practices on a constant basis in an ever-changing landscape 

· The ability to clearly communicate complex and technical information and concepts to a range of audiences

· Experience of creating content for intranets and digital training

· Experience of providing project co-ordinator support or working within Information Technology or Information Security.
