This opportunity suits someone who: Has a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude. Has the heart of an entrepreneur and the skill set and financial backing to be a good business owner. Already owns or can purchase their own class one curtain-sider truck. Has a genuine love of dealing with people. As the face of our business, a clean and tidy appearance, sense of humour, and strong customer service skills are essential!Has 100% compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and prioritizes team safety. Experience in the freight industry is preferable. You will need a current and full Class 1 Drivers Licence to start and have held this for six months, along with a Dangerous Goods License. We can provide training for other requirements if you're the right candidate. A Fork Hoist Licence will be required eventually but is not essential initially. Speak to any Mainfreight Owner Driver, and they'll tell you it's a win/win.
