The purpose of this role is to drive the delivery of the Toka Tu Ake EQC Compliance Framework. This position will work closely with other members of the Risk and Compliance team to develop ongoing and future approaches to compliance activities. Your confident and engaging manner and excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to quickly build effective working relationships across all levels. You will be a credible and trusted person who is actively sought out for their advice, influence, and collaborative approach to health, safety, security, and wellbeing business performance. Ko wai koe | About You Appropriate business qualification at tertiary level (e.g. business degree) Experience in compliance, with knowledge and understanding of relevant New Zealand legislation and standards. Knowledge in investment compliance is a plus. Experience in privacy and in-depth understanding of the Privacy Act 2020; a relevant qualification is a plus (e.g. International Association of Privacy Professionals accreditation) Proven experience in successfully implementing and improving compliance programmes and framework. Demonstrated (or ability to gain) technical knowledge and understanding of Earthquake Commission Act 1993 Privacy Act 2020 Other relevant legislation, industry codes and standards Able to facilitate risk workshops and conduct training Why Toka Tu Ake EQC is a great place to work What is the most important thing in the world; it is people, it is people, it is people.
