About the Role:Based in Royal Oak, Auckland this role reports to the Financial Controller and manages the general ledger, and monthly reporting, oversees the Accounts Payable function and supports the business in managing overhead budgets.As an integral part of our team, your key responsibilities will include the following: Generation and distribution of financial reports (monthly management, overhead cost centre performance, capital expenditure)Overseeing the accounts payable function, including supervision of three account assistantsMaintenance of vendor master fileControl and maintenance of the fixed asset registerMonth-end processesManagement of investment fundsSupporting departmental managers with overhead budgetsAssisting Financial Controller with the annual budget processOngoing process improvement To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and knowledge: 3-5 years of financial accounting experience, ideally in the manufacturing sectorFully qualified as a CA/CPAHigh attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skillsAble to work with minimum supervision to achieve deadlinesExcellent communication skills, written and verbalExperience managing direct reportsSAP experience is preferred Applications close Friday 3 November 2023.
