Our client, a major telecommunications company based in Lower Hutt, is seeking a highly organised and competent individual to join their team. This is a multi-faceted role that requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organisation skills, and the ability to work autonomously. As the Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for a range of finance-related tasks, ensuring smooth financial operations within the company. Key Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including invoicing, credit invoices, and monthly statements. Reconcile cash payments and monitor transactions. Process purchase orders and maintain stock control using Unleashed software. Check and forward timesheets for fortnightly payroll. Upload invoice data from Excel into Xero and reconcile payments. Onboard and conduct credit checks on new customers. Create supplier invoices in Xero and set up payment runs. Respond to account-related queries from suppliers and customers. Monthly import foreign currency bank account statements. To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience in finance administration, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation. Strong competency in Xero, Excel, and financial software (Unleashed experience is a plus). Attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to self-manage and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and customers effectively. A strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
