Overview We are looking for an experienced forklift driver.
You will work inside a busy onion packhouse during the onion exporting season.
This is a seasonal job.

Saturday shifts may be necessary.$26 - $30 per hour + 8% holiday pay.
Pay based on experience.15 minutes drive from Ashburton.
Job Tasks Stack and move large produce bins using a forklift.
Load/unload trucks and shipping containers.
Remove stacks of packed product from packing machinery.
Assist packhouse staff with daily cleanup and other tasks as required.
Requirements The job involves driving a forklift around packing machinery and grading staff.
It requires a great deal of care.
You must have previous forklift driving experience.
It can be a high pressure environment and requires a lot of multi‐tasking.
Some lifting work may be required; you should be able to lift up to 25kg easily.
Job applicants must have the right to work in NZ (Working Holiday Visa, residency or NZ/AUS citizen).
The work environment is dusty and not heated.
