Founding Engineer / Technical Co-Founder

I'm the solo founder of an early-stage startup building the next‐generation online marketplace and network for local services. We've already gained strong early traction, with a growing waitlist and interest from investors.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the true ground floor — as a technical leader, helping shape not just the product, but the company itself. Your Role
Own the tech stack: Architect, design, and build our web platform end‐to‐end.
Build the MVP: Rapidly develop a scalable, high‐quality MVP that validates our concept and supports early user growth.
Be a strategic partner: Work closely with me on product direction, technical roadmap, and go‐to‐market strategy.
Fundraising & scale: Help shape our technical story for investors and prepare for future engineering hires post‐funding.
The Offer
Equity: Meaningful co‐founder‐level equity stake, reflecting your ownership and commitment at this stage.
Cash bonus: Provided upon reaching key milestones, such as MVP completion and launch.
Commitment: Around 10 hours per week initially, with flexibility to ramp up as we approach funding and growth.
Future compensation: A full‐time salary will be offered post‐funding, alongside continued equity upside as a core team member.
Who You Are
Experienced in building and shipping full‐stack web apps (ideally React, Next.js, Node, or a similar modern stack).
Strong architectural instincts and ability to balance MVP speed with scalability.
Entrepreneurial mindset — resourceful, ambitious, and comfortable in fast‐moving, undefined environments.
Vision‐driven — you think beyond code and understand how technology drives business outcomes.
