Senior Project Manager – Capital Project Delivery Mid-October start – 12-month contract role Large complex public sector organisation Auckland central location About the role: We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to work in a large government organisation focussed on redeveloping Auckland public spaces to create a city for visitors and locals to enjoy.
The focus for this Senior Project Manager will be on planning, organising, leading and controlling multi-faceted capital projects which will be mainly park and playground development as well as streetscape.
You will work with the Priority Location Directors of each project to develop comprehensive better business cases and project documentation that clearly identifies the time, cost, scope, quality, benefit and risk required for the life of the projects.
You will also manage the workstream leads to ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed business case tolerances.
Requirements: You will be a qualified project manager with PMP, PRINCE2, and or MSP and: Minimum of 10 years proven experience in delivering multi-faceted development and/or infrastructure projects with both a client services and commercial focus Proven experience working across central government and/or local government Track record of producing high quality business cases and project execution plans Demonstrated experience and track record in Contract Management with a strong focus on relationship and maximising return on investment Proven ability to manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders If you are interested in finding out more, please click “apply now” to send in your CV.
