The Fat Kiwi Cafe team in Otorohanga are passionate about all things food, so we need a candidate to hit the grill with the same passion, enthusiasm and experience in a busy kitchen café environment.
In this role you are responsible for food preparation, grilling breakfasts and meals to an exceptional standard. You will ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met and maintain a clean organised workstation. It is important that you have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, and can provide recent references.
Our food is beautifully presented, delicious, wholesome food which can be enjoyed in our café environment inspired by good, honest kiwi farmhouse atmosphere.
This role in our kitchen team works a minimum of 30 hours per week, rostered between Monday to Sunday. There is a requirement to work at least 2 weekends per month.
There is a requirement to assist with catering and events work as well, which is at times available over and above the normal hours of this role.
