This will include strengths in accident investigation, training and development and broader communication skills. About the RoleProvide training and development to enable our people leaders to advance their understanding and influence in HSE, and across other safety education.Present updates on monthly performance to site managementFacilitate the implementation of key safety themes linked to our key values - 'We Care, We Dare, We Deliver'. Implement changes to our internal health, safety, and environmental framework.manage the delivery, the timebound delivery of annual HSE plan objectives and policy improvements.Lead serious incident reviews and investigation reporting.Support the delivery of our Global Standards auditing and leader standard work audit programs.Assess organisational risk and support the implementation of projects accordingly.Support the South Island health and safety committee with focused annual outcomes.ensure employee health & wellbeing activity programs are executed in a timely manner, such as health monitoring and Flu jabs etc.Manage H&S financial costs for assigned sites.Apply continuous improvement principles to drive Best Practice results.Manage and support HSE Project delivery across Aliaxis NZ. About youRelevant Degree or formal H&S qualification (i.e. NEBOSH Diploma, DipOSH or equivalent)Minimum five or more years' experience in a H&S position in a manufacturing or similar environmentRelevant experience or certification in train-the-trainerExperience with Environmental ManagementExperience with ISO accreditationsUnderstanding of key NZ and Australian Standards around safety systems.Continuous improvement experience (6S, six sigma or lean manufacturing)Experience in manufacturing or similar industryProven success in working across all levels of a business with strong communication skills.An ability to navigate computing tools such as word, excel, PowerPoint, teams etc We believe in the growth and development of our people and are always on the bid to make each day better.
