Mō te tūnga - About the role

Ward 14 based at Christchurch Hospital is a 30-bed ward that specialises in the care of nephrology patients including acute and planned renal transplant care/services for people not only in Canterbury and Westland but also Otago and Southland, along with general medicine patients which covers a wide range of acute medical conditions. 

Available roles are part time 0.7FTE or above, through to full-time. Please do not apply if you are wanting any less than this. 

Ko wai koe -  About You

We are looking for Registered Nurses preferably with a background in nephrology or general medicine. Your expertise in quality patient care will complement our multidisciplinary team. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, have a desire to learn, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and work effectively as a member of our team.

You will have a good sense of humour, the ability to develop rapport with patients and colleagues, and exceptional team work will go a long way in this environment and ensure you provide great patient care.

You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate.
Experience in an acute ward setting is desirable.
In these positions you will work as part of a roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
