Registered Nurse - Ward 11 (ORL, Eyes and Maxillofacial Surgery) Based at Ward 11, Christchurch Hospital Shifts rostered across Monday - Sunday; morning, afternoon and nights Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.
About the Role As a Registered Nurse in Ward 11 you will be caring for a mix of head and neck, ophthalmology, maxillo‐facial and general surgery patients.
About You Working in Ward 11, no two days will be the same as you will be working with a large variety of cases and diagnoses.
If you are a Registered Nurse who is motivated, engaged and thrives on the challenge of an acute environment, we want to hear from you.
Surgical experience is preferred for this position, however you will receive a comprehensive orientation programme which will be tailored to your needs.
Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APCConfident practitioner with exceptional patient assessment skills and knowledge Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a wide variety of people Flexible and adaptable with the ability to cover shifts Ability to work well under pressure within a multidisciplinary team Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
