A8 is a unique ward accommodating both the Acute Stroke Unit and VascularSurgery specialties. We are a passionate and dynamic team who support a diversepatient group, as well as each other.Currently there are 24 inpatient ward beds, and recently 4 new progressivecare beds have opened. These provide intermediate level nursing for both strokeand vascular patients.
