Expression of Interest for Senior Medical Officers for Critical Care Unit, Southland Hospital Southland Hospital Salary: ASMS MECA 2022 (NZD 170,369 - 250,560) We are seeking expressions of interest from Senior Medical Officers who have an interest in providing Critical Care or Intensive Care. Southland Hospital has a six bed Critical Care unit and following significant investment we are aiming to have the necessary staffing and resourcing for two Intensive Care level beds and four Critical Care level beds. We are seeking expression of interest from intensivists but also potentially Anaesthetists, Medical Physicians, Respiratory Physicians, Emergency Medicine Physicians or those in any specialty who has trained to work or has an interest to work in the intensive care/critical care area. We anticipate that the primary focus of the role would be in the Critical/Intensive care area however some work within your second specialty would be expected (as applicable). We are at the beginning of our journey and have a stepwise plan to transition to a dedicated team leading our unit and would welcome the opportunity to discuss these positions and see how you could be part of our exciting new journey!
