With a new SLT this is an opportunity to make a real difference in the way HR operations are run on-site. As an HR Advisor at Tomoana Site, you’ll play a vital role in providing frontline HR support to our employees. Working closely with team leaders, employees, and managers, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day people operations while driving best practices in employee engagement, compliance, and performance. Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Advise on employment relations matters and assist with investigations Coordinate training and development initiatives Monitor HR compliance and ensure documentation is up to date Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and employee experience Support site engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture Support HRBP with routines, employee engagement surveys, and COE initiatives. Collaborate on HR employment matters, promote performance feedback culture, and support performance appraisals and leadership coaching. Provide proactive HR support to leaders and staff on site Support internal recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning About you: Currently working as an HR advisor preferably in a manufacturing or industries similar to FMCG. Experience in highly unionised organisations will be highly regarded Experience in an organization with blue- and white-collar environments is a must to be successful in this role Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field Proficient in HR software (Workday desirable) and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and strong problem-solving skills Benefits of working with us: Pay for Performance – industry leading variable compensation offerings tied to company and individual performance on top of a competitive base salary package.
