We are looking for a registered teacher to support tamariki to grow as confident, capable learners. About us Busy Bees Papamoa Beach has three well defined spaces with a strong pedagogical focus. In Nest, kaiako draw from Pikler, slowing down, reading each child’s cues and using care moments as rich, relational learning. In Hive, the focus is social and emotional competence, with kaiako coaching emotions, co-regulating and supporting toddlers to navigate big feelings and friendships. In Bumblebees, tamariki are treated as capable decision makers who lead their learning through play, inquiry and project work, with social competence, early literacy and numeracy woven through in meaningful ways. Team conversations centre on Te Whāriki, observation and intentional planning. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, you get nationwide support alongside the relaxed, beachside feel of Papamoa. About you You are a registered ECE or primary trained kaiako who brings warmth, observation skills and strong relationships to your teaching. You value unhurried care for pēpi, emotional coaching with toddlers and agency, inquiry and social competence in the preschool years. You plan and document through Te Whāriki and enjoy being in a team that talks about practice and grows together.
